With seasonal changes upon us it is important to check the
electrical connections for the overfill system. As the signals
that run through the wires from the sensors to the sockets
and controls are low power, a small amount of corrosion
can compromise reliable operation.
Inspect all connections at the sensors for oxidation and/or
discoloration. Repair and replace all questionable connections.
Look for signs of moisture within socket housings, sensor
holders and control housings. Tighten all compression fittings
and replace worn or cracked o-rings and gaskets. Check cable
runs for signs of fatigue such as cracking or chafing. Replace
cable runs as necessary.
