Scully's Scul-Lock® & Scul-Tite® cam & groove couplings are
used throughout the chemical industry. There are numerous reasons
for this. First, the self-locking coupler (whose handles lock
automatically when engaged but must be manually released for disconnect)
is well-known and regarded for its durability and simplicity. Second,
the coupling body protects handles and other parts from impact, and is
vibration and shock resistant. Third, the hose shank is specially
designed for better retention for today's chemical hoses. Lastly, in
combination with stainless steel sensors, which Scully has, Scully
overfill protection systems are applicable and in use throughout the
liquid chemical industry.
