The
Scully refueler overfill prevention system features electro-optic
sensors that can be adjusted in length for shutdown level
requirements. In addition, the system offers heavy-duty sockets
for refuelers, and an on-board control unit to control functions
such as audible alarm units, plus bottom loading or defueling
shutdown controls. Scully aviation systems have been standard
equipment on U.S. Navy refuelers and Air Force R-11 refuelers
for over five years. The systems are also in use in the commercial
aviation market.
